It is mainly a national topic, but what if it related more to our towns or our school? This website consists of articles relating to  MapSo’s gossip, false rumors, and more. We also included current social issues such as school shootings and lies surrounding them, and cheating in sports. To explore the topic of fake news, we wanted to talk especially about how social media (Twitter, Facebook) is used to convey these falsities. Our articles include topics such as: Senior Skip Day, Apple Airpods, the Olympics, etc. All of them involve the use of deception or the effects of lies on the public. Though the idea of our website being on “fake news” was a more satirical point of view drawn from politics, the articles are real.
